- Frank A. Rinehart was born in 1861 in Lodi, Illinois. With his brother Alfred, he moved to Colorado in the 1870s and later partnered for a time with well-known photographer William Henry Jackson. He married in 1885 and moved to Nebraska. In downtown Omaha, Rinehart opened a studio where he worked until his death. Rinehart's photographs are included in dozens of important public collections throughout the world.
